We know how annoying it can be to turn up to your rental depot, only to find that there are no cars available even though you’ve booked. Don’t worry though - just call us and we’ll sort it out.
When you book with Airport Rentals you’ll automatically be covered by our Good-to-Go Guarantee*. If your rental supplier doesn’t have a vehicle for you, then we’ll find you the best alternative at our own cost* to make sure you’re on the road as soon as possible. We’ll even reimburse you the difference (if any) of the replacement vehicle.* To the extent that the replacement rental vehicle is more expensive than your original booking.

1. To qualify the customer must notify Airport Rentals by phone (on 1300 136 465) while at the car rental agency’s counter as Airport Rentals will need to verify with the supplier that there is, in fact, no vehicle available for the customer, and that the customer’s booking cannot be honoured by the car rental agency. Airport Rentals will speak with the car rental representative to validate the qualification for coverage under the Good-to-Go Guarantee.
2. If the customer makes alternate arrangements without contacting Airport Rentals then they do not qualify for the Good-to-Go Guarantee and will not be reimbursed for any extra costs.
3. Most car rental agencies hold vehicles for up to 50 minutes so the customer must arrive at the agency’s counter in time (as per booking voucher) to qualify for the Good-to-Go Guarantee.
4. If the customer’s flight is delayed or cancelled then the customer must notify the car rental agency as well as Airport Rentals to make alternative arrangements.
5. The Customer must arrive at the car rental agency’s counter during the branch’s opening hours.
6. The Good-to-Go Guarantee is available to all customers who booked their car rental through AirportRentals.com / AirportRentals.com.au and renting in New Zealand or Australia only.
7. Customer must follow standard terms and conditions of the supplier’s rental agreement in order to be eligible for the Good-to-Go Guarantee. i.e. have the correct credit card, a valid drivers licence, meet minimum age requirements.
8. Airport Rentals will reimburse the extra cost, up to $200.00 NZD, associated with booking a comparable vehicle with an alternate supplier - so the extra cost is not passed onto you.
9. The customer must send a copy of the invoice post rental to trigger a refund.
10. Airport Rentals reserve the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time.
